The 2008 Juan Rojo is raised in French (Allier) and American oak for eight months. It has a ripe bouquet of macerated dark cherries, soy and dried prune that is uncomplicated but clean. The palate is ripe and sweet on the entry, with red cherries and a touch of soy leading to a tart, slightly pinched finish. Drink now-2015.
