The 2010 Touriga Nacional & Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva was oak aged for 12 months. Laced with far too much sweet oak at this moment, this struggles to surmount it, but there are signs it might with a year or so of cellaring. The wine is otherwise lovely, beautifully constructed, bright and elegant in the mid-palate with some tannic pop and an otherwise graceful demeanor. If this can absorb some of that oak, it should be a winner. It is persistent and fresh. There were 89,000 bottles produced. Drink now-2020. These particular bottles are not imported. In the past, Alorna has provided excellent value in these well-structured bottlings, so hopefully that gets straightened out promptly.Importer: Grape Moments, a Division of Sintra Imports, New Bedford, MA; tel.
