The 2016 C?te de Beaune-Villages (Maison Louis Jadot) is produced from purchased wine, and it isn't as integrated as the wines Jadot vinifies in house. Aromas of creamy new oak vie with juicy red fruits for the taster's attention, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy but rather simple palate, with melting tannins and tangy acids. It's not bad, but there are many better reds in the range.
