The 2007 Ciliegiolo is a fresh, vinous offering loaded with the essence of perfumed raspberries, strawberries, flowers and minerals. This engaging, delicious wine offers lovely purity and terrific balance. It is an awesome effort at this level. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2010. Sassotondo is another of the small properties making terrific wines under the direction of consulting oenologist Attilio Pagli.
