Charlot blended in the press wines from his village Pommard and Volnay into his dark-colored 2003 Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes (red). Harvested in the early days of September, it displays a concentrated core of black cherries. Medium-bodied, with excellent depth of fruit, this wine is a lovely, structured Pinot Noir for drinking over the next 3-4 years.
