The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful wine. Freshly cut flowers, dark red berries, mint and crushed rocks are some of the nuances that flow from this highly articulated, engaging red. Despite its richness and obvious size, the 2009 retains remarkable freshness, clarity and precision. This is a terrific showing. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2024. I have been following Plumpjack since first visiting the winery nearly a decade ago.
