Fashioned from a parcel located in the lower reaches of the southern slope of the hill of Corton, the 2003 Corton-Chaumes displays spicy sweet black fruits in its aromatics. Suave, candied, pure, and medium to full-bodied, this is a wine of considerable depth as well as concentration. Loaded with jammy black fruits whose effects linger in its elongated finish, it should be at its best between 2008 and 2017.
