Opening in the glass with scents of raspberries, cassis and forest floor, framed by a deft touch of oak, the 2018 Pommard Les Petits Noizons is medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with a lively core of fruit and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish. Still a little shy after its recent bottling, this has turned out nicely.

Well-defined and sporting pure black cherry, black currant and violet aromas and flavors, this is solidly structured and vibrant. A strong graphite element emerges as this winds down on the finish.
