The 2008 Lumiere Chardonnay was sourced from the Stillwater Creek Vineyard, fermented with native yeasts, and aged sur lie with weekly stirring in 50% new oak. Light gold-colored, it exhibits an enticing nose of buttered popcorn, tropical fruits, and mineral. Medium-bodied and round on the palate with the oak well-integrated, this savory Chardonnay has excellent volume and a lengthy finish. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
