Cahors, which had for many years represented good value, only to see interest wain because of high prices, has come back to earth with better quality and lower prices. This 1990 offering is a delicious, spicy, fragrant, berry fruit-scented with evidence of spicy new oak, medium body, fine definition, and a ripe, moderately tannic finish. Approachable now, it should continue to improve for another 4-6 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA.
