Very deep purple-black colored, the 2009 Petit Syrah offers moderately intense notes of black plums and macerated blackberries with nuances of damp loam, dark chocolate and cedar. Medium to full bodied and with plenty of taut, muscular fruit in the mouth, it has a good backbone of medium to firm grainy tannins and crisp acidity, finishing long and pure.
