In contrast, the 2011 Barbera d’Alba Vignota delivers tones of savory spice, cured meat, dark berry and plum. I liked the softness and the vibrant quality of the mouthfeel that is crisp and focused without being too sharp or over acidic. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018.
