The 2007 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Rasteau Cuvee Paul-Emilie is even better. The vintage's velvety tannins are well-displayed in this super-concentrated, inky/blue/black-colored effort. Dense, full-bodied, mouthfilling, and substantial, this is a brawny, blockbuster southern Rhone fruit bomb that should age effortlessly for a decade or more.
One of the up-and-coming stars of the southern Rhone is the Domaine Bressy-Masson. They normally produce three cuvees, all of them exciting.
