Cain Cellars' 1990 Chardonnay exhibits a gorgeously ripe, buttery, honeyed apple-scented nose. On the palate, there is full body, plenty of rich, fruit buttressed by crisp acidity and framed by vanilla tasting, smoky new oak. The finish is long and opulent. Do not defer your pleasure as this delicious Chardonnay will probably begin its decline in less than a year.
