The Chambolle-Musigny offers a wonderfully elegant, berry-scented bouquet bursting with fruit and spicy, toasty oak. The wine is fully mature and should be consumed by 1991-1992. It is not a blockbuster, but it expresses the silky elegance of Pinot Noir very well.
This is a wine to buy only if you intend to drink it over the near term, as its aging potential is limited.
