The Domaine de l'Oratoire St.-Martin is one of the finest estates in the Cotes du Rhone. Recent vintages have all persuasively exhibited high quality. Kudos to the Alary family for producing one of the finest white wines in the Cotes du Rhone. The 1994 Cairanne Reserve des Seigneurs offers jammy red and black fruit aromas, along with smoked herbs and garrigue scents. Medium-bodied, richly fruity, and velvety-textured, it can be drunk over the next several years. The three red wine cuvees from this estate are all extremely well-made, rich, concentrated, and flavorful wines with considerable personality. They are impressive wines from one of the stars of the Cotes du Rhone-Villages.
