The 2009 Hispano Suizas Pinot Noir (100%) spent 7 months in new French oak. The aromatics are not particularly varietal but reveal fragrant, spicy, toasty red fruits that jump from the glass. Supple, ripe, and smooth-textured, this tasty effort will provide enjoyment over the next 3-4 years. The Bodegas Hispano Suizas project began in 1999 and consists of 55 hectares (121 acres) in Requena in the inland portion of the Valencia region. The current releases include two outstanding sparkling wines.Importer: Steve Miles Selections, Denver, CO; Tel: (303) 495-3811
