The 2002 Vin de Soleil white (60% Roussanne from the Stolpman Vineyard and 40% Viognier from the Bien Nacido Vineyard) was aged in neutral wood with no malolactic. It reveals a sunny Mediterranean-like personality reminiscent of Beaucastel’s white Cotes du Rhone called Coudoulet. The Vin de Soleil offers lemony acidity along with copious aromas and flavors of orange blossoms, passion fruit, and citrus oils. Pure, clean, tasty, and extremely food friendly, it will drink well for 1-2 years. Tel. (805) 649-1674
