The 2007 Rosso Real offers up roasted coffee beans, mocha, new leather, blackberries and blueberries, all of which come together on a medium-bodied, yet intense frame. This shows marvelous intensity and centeredness all the way through to the beautifully proportioned finish, with a personality that captures the essence of the house style. The Real is 50% Tazzelenghe, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Accordingly, it is a more distinctly Friulian red than the Celtico. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2012.
