The 2006 Kaseler Nies-chen Riesling Kabinett trocken reveals a clear, satisfyingly ripe red currant nose with smoky, spicy overtones; a good sense of stuffing (at 11.5% alcohol) and juicy palate presence, and a mouth-watering wet stone, smoke, caraway, and tart lemon zest and red berry finish.
