I wasn’t terribly happy with the 2005 Pinot Noir (and of course, this is the one with the largest production). The color is dark ruby, and it is pure, ripe, but plays it tight to the vest, with high acidity. Tel. and fax (805) 489-0446

This is Talley’s basic appellation Pinot Noir, and it shares the elegance and balance this winery is known for, although the concentration of the single-vineyard bottlings isn’t there.
