The complexity on the nose is so mesmerizing with subtle smoke, dried meat and plums. Full-bodied with so well integrated and ultra-fine tannins, the wine shows composure and greatness. it goes on for minutes. Harmony. Grace. Wonderful wine. Second wine of Lafleur. Better in 2023.

Showing a bit more depth of color than usual, the wine pops with flowers, mint and black plums. This wine is buxom, fresh with seductive, dark red fruits tucked into its cleavage and an earthy presence that sticks with you from start to cherry finish. The wine was made from a blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Franc. The Merlot was harvested September 30 and the Cabernet Franc, October 12.
