Although the color is an attractive dark ruby, this light to medium-bodied effort reveals considerable hollowness in the mid-palate. While some Pessac-Leognan aromas of scorched earth, red currant, and gravel emerge, there is little depth or length. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2012.
