The 1991 Nuits St.-Georges-Les Corvees exhibits deep ruby color, fine underlying depth, and Bordeaux-like structure, as well as tough, dry, austere tannins in the finish. Cellar this wine for at least 2-3 years and drink it over the following decade. Importer: Kobrand, Inc., New York, NY.
NOTES ON THE 1992s FROM BARREL: Jadot's 1992 reds appear to be fruitier, more charming and attractive wines than the 1991s. Not as powerful nor as tannic as the 1991s, they display seductive, velvety textures and loads of sweet fruit. They are particularly strong in Jadot's extensive Cote de Beaune portfolio. Moreover, prices for the 1992s will be lower, making them attractive buys.
