The exceptional 1999 Monpra is a proprietary blend of 50% Nebbiolo, 40% Barbera, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 18 months in barrel. Its dark ruby/purple color is accompanied by sweet aromas of black currant and cherry fruit interspersed with graphite, camphor, and licorice scents.
