There’s a nice classic structure to this dry wine, but it’s pretty much in lockdown tannin mode now. However, underneath those tannins is a solid core of blackberries and sweet cassis, and one of these days, when the wine has been aged and decanted to rid it of sediment, the sweetness should be gorgeous.
