The 2005 Pinot Noir “Ribbon Springs Vineyard” offers an attractive bouquet of violets, red fruits, and smoke leading to an elegant wine with vibrant acidity and a wide band of sweet, ripe fruit. It also has excellent depth and a pure finish. It can be enjoyed now but will evolve for several years.
Adelsheim Vineyard was founded in 1971 and the winery’s first vintage was in 1978. David Adelsheim remains in charge as the winery has expanded into a new winery and planted more vineyard in the Chehalem Mountain AVA. In addition to Pinot Noir, the winery produces a bevy of quality white wines worthy of consumer attention.
