Note: This wine is a special North Berkeley Imports bottling which is neither fined nor filtered. Yves Boyer and his wife purchased a small parcel of 25-30 year old vines in Puligny-Montrachet Les Caillerets. The 1997 Reserve, their first vintage, is superb, suggesting that consumers have another first rate source from this heralded terroir. It displays dusty rock and mineral aromas as well as a medium-to-full-bodied and dense core of pears, apples, stones, earth, spices, and white pepper. Projected maturity: 2001-2007.
