The 2008 Cannonau di Sardegna Noras is a new wine from Santadi. It shows the darker, wilder side of this indigenous variety. There is plenty of dark fruit, not to mention power in the glass, but little of the refinement that is typical here. For now the Cannonau looks like it is still a work in progress.
