More red fruit-driven, with a core of sweet cherries, dried leaves and forest floor, the 2011 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard has a Burgundian savoriness on the palate (a character of the vintage) with ripe tannin and solid edge. The acidity pokes out slightly here, yet it’s still outstanding. Drink it over the coming 5-6 years. Drink now-2019. This was a classy, character filled lineup of wines by the folks at Foxen. Tel.
