The 2005 Neo was sourced from 50- to 60-year-old low-yielding Tempranillo vines. The wine was aged for 15 months in French and American oak and bottled without fining or filtration. Opaque purple-colored, it offers an alluring bouquet of pain grille, mineral, leather, espresso, and blackberry. This leads to a full-bodied, layered, intense wine with incipient complexity, serious structure, and 5-7 years of aging potential. This powerful, muscular wine will drink well through 2030.
