The 2017 Orvieto Classico Superiore Castagnolo is a blend of 70% Grechetto and 30% Trebbiano that is faithful to local traditional. The wine affords an easy-drinking style with fresh citrus, pear and white peach aromas. No oak is used, but thanks to careful fruit selection in the vineyard, the bouquet is bright and authentic. An ample 100,000 bottles were made, and you get great value here.
