The 2004 Brunello di Montalcino is an attractive, mid-weight offering laced with perfumed red cherries, spices, tobacco and underbrush. The aromas and flavors come together quite nicely in this understated, elegant Brunello. The wine gains pretty inner sweetness with time in the glass, while fine, silky tannins caress the palate on the finish.
