Produced from a parcel that was once part of the famed Seven Springs Vineyard, the 2003 Pinot Noir Anden Vineyard explodes from the glass with mouth-watering aromas of bilberries, black cherries, soy sauce, and flowers. Hugely concentrated, this big, muscular wine coats the taster’s palate with dark cherries as well as hints of licorice. Projected maturity: 2008-2016.
It is heartening to see that Mark Vlossak, St.-Innocent’s winemaker and co-owner, has maintained reasonable prices even after having received considerable praise for his wines over the years.
