Dark ruby. Powerful aromas of cherry and strawberry preserves, tinged by darker notes of tobacco and espresso. Lush and creamy in texture but also firmly structured, with very good depth to the dark fruit flavors. Still a bit rough on the back end, owing to its substantial young tannins.
