The 2006 Langhe Nebbiolo offers up a bouquet of flowers, sweet spices and dried cherries. Medium in body, the wine shows good length as well as balance. The 2006 Langhe Nebbiolo is an excellent choice for mid-term drinking. It continued to improve in the glass, and I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if this Nebbiolo surprises on the upside in the coming years. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2014.
