The most difficult of this trio to figure out is the 2002 Pinot Noir Auction Block. Its dark plum/ruby color is accompanied by scents of chocolate, sassafras, herbs, and forest floor. While attractive, ripe, and medium to full-bodied, it reveals a hard, tannic finish. If this 2002 comes around, it will merit a relatively high score, but if not, it will become increasingly desiccated. It should last for 5-6 years.Tel. (707) 823-2794
