Another charmer is the 2014 C?tes du Rh?ne Villages Cuvee Gabrielle. Made from 55% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 5% Carignan that was aged all in 300-liter three- to four-year-old barrels, it gives up first rate aromas of cassis and black raspberry fruits intermixed with notions of spring flowers and mint. Medium to full-bodied, supple, forward and even voluptuous, drink it over the coming 4-5 years.
