All three of the 1990 offerings are outstanding examples of both the vintage and of their respective vineyards. The Nuits St.-Georges-Les Damodes, from one of the best vineyards of that appellation, exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, a huge nose of roasted nuts, black plums, and cherries. In the mouth, this sumptuous, intensely concentrated, full-bodied wine displays low acidity, sweet tannins, and gobs of glycerin, extract, and alcohol in its lusty finish. It makes for a stunning glass of wine. Drink it over the next decade.
