The 2001 Semillon is a low alcohol (11%), crisp, elegant, light to medium-bodied white displaying characteristics of Thai lemon grass, figs, and citrus. Enjoy this fresh, zesty Semillon over the next several years. Although the Australians feel these wines age well, I do not enjoy the mothball-like aromas that emerge after a few years.
