The 2022 Riesling Forster Ungeheuer Grosses Gew?chs was harvested on limestone debris, basalt, clay and loam. Bassermann-Jordan has three parcels, two in the lower reaches and one at the top. The nose is shy, but the palate opens with lemony creaminess, less yeasty and salty than its siblings. The midpalate has subtle concentration, lightness and flow, finishing with gentle lemon.
