The 2014 Pommard 1er Cru Clos Blanc has a very appealing bouquet with lifted black cherry and raspberry scents, a precise mineral seam interwoven underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with a little hardness on the linear opening. This is quite foursquare, very "Pommard" in style, conservative but fresh. It's the kind of Pommard for those that like a little austerity.
