The 2014 Marojallia did not show well in barrel, but has come together now in bottle. It is very deep in color. The nose was reticent at first, unfurling gradually with blackberry, raspberry coulis and iodine aromas, later, just a subtle estuarine scent. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, fine mineralité and tension with an appealing sense of energy and frisson on the finish. Enjoy this over the next 8-10 years.
