The Nuits St.-Georges Les Boudots jumped up a big notch in quality. Dark ruby, this wine is very rich, spicy, full bodied, plummy, and quite long. It should be gorgeous between 1989 and 1996.
Jadot's 1985s are loaded with aromas and flavors of red fruits, are judiciously complemented by one-third new oak barrels, and have super color, thanks in part to a very high fermentation temperature of 35°-36° C.
