The 2007 received a 96-point score in 2009, which, four years later, appears to be right on the mark. Plenty of orange and tangerine characteristics intermixed with white currants, pineapple and wet rock notes emerge from this full-bodied, stunning Chardonnay. There is not a trace of oak or heat (14.6% natural alcohol) in this light gold-colored 2007. It combines authoritative flavor intensity with elegance, finesse and terrific minerality. A stunning example of the confident winemaking and genius of Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton, it should continue to drink well for another decade.
