The 2010 Chianti Rufina is delicious in this challenging vintage, even if it doesn’t quite captivate the way the best years can. Dark cherries, flowers, tobacco and licorice come to life in a surprisingly powerful Chianti from Selvapiana. A kick of bright Sangiovese acidity frames a finish that turns a bit fleeting.
