The 2015 Chianti Classico Vigna Istine is a simple red wine with a healthy dose of primary fruit to keep it fresh and bright. There is cherry, blackberry, dark spice and barbecue smoke. The overall presentation is classic and correct. Those higher altitudes and cooler temperatures of Radda in Chianti add to the sharpness and focus of the wine. Only 2,600 bottles were produced.
