The first effort from empire-builder and proprietor of Pape-Clement and other well-known Bordeaux chateaux, Bernard Magrez, this blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petit Verdot was made at Quintessa Winery with consultation from Michel Rolland. An elegant, understated, aromatic effort, it reveals scents of plums, black currants, flowers, and damp earth.
