Another fresh, elegant, yet classy and well-made wine is the 2013 Cote Rotie Le Village. Coming from the younger vines of the estate and geared for upfront and early drinking, it has loads of charm in its violets, spice box, smoked meats and assorted berry fruits. Medium-bodied, with bright acidity and ripe tannin, it can certainly be enjoyed now, but I also think it will drink nicely for a good 7-8 years as well.
