The 2000 Cotes du Rhone Les Quatres Terres is still drinking beautifully. Although not as big as its younger sibling, it is a sweet, concentrated, delicious red offering plenty of black fruit characteristics, admirable glycerin, and abundant spice. It should continue to drink well for another 1-2 years. As I indicated in 2001, Yves Gras, one of the most talented producers of Gigondas, is also offering wines under a negociant label called Santa Duc Selections. These offerings are made from purchased fruit, as opposed to the estate-bottled efforts that appear under the name Domaine Santa Duc.Importer: Robert Kacher Selections, Washington, DC; tel.
